FOUNDER
The founderof THE MEAT FACTORY, Ms Aiyesha Azmi, a chartered accountant by profession, comes with 20 years of rich work experience across diversified businesses with last 17 years spent in UAE with large retailers of the region.
THE START
The seeds were unknowingly sown more than 5 years back with an objective of providing additional sustainable means of livelihood to the labour working in ourfarms back home in our village and also fill the gap in the supply of goat milk for people suffering from Dengue & Chikungunya.
What started as a small support activity, has gradually evolved into an industry and is currently one of the largest goat farms in the state. The goat farm is built over an area of 200,000 sq ft in the heart of 25 acres of lush agricultural land used for farming and surrounded by mango orchards and houses over 10000 goats at present.
The goat farm has created immense employment opportunities for nearby villages. The team of caretakers and workers at the farm is hand-picked and carefully groomed to align with her vision of ethical farming.
In 2019, at the pinnacle of her career, she chose to pull the breaks and pursue her dream of starting her own business.
THE MEAT FACTORY
With an eco-system in place, sprouted the idea of opening a specialized meat shop catering to specific needs of meat enthusiasts. THE MEAT FACTORY is not just another meat shop, it a showcase of our labour of love as it showcases our commitment to not only providing the freshest, highest-quality meat, but also to customer service. At Meat Factory we believe in sustainable farming practices of raising open-pasture meat and poultry which is natural grass fed without being injected with hormones or steroids. Our staff and butchers are incredibly knowledgeable, and can help with tips, tricks, and recipes. To match the customers’ requirements, our trained butchers cut meat on wooden boards giving traditionally accurate meat cuts which enhances the taste of the cooked meat.
Outside our farm we work with only local farmers and ranchers from various countries who raise meat, and poultry as we do. Along with fresh meat and specialized meat products from India we also serve meat and meat products which are sourced locally as well as from countries such as Pakistan, Kenya, Oman, Australia, Brazil, Ethiopia, Sudan.
